Hot Topic: SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL
The 2008 San Diego Comic-Con International is being held at the San Diego Convention Center July 24-27 (with a preview night on July 23). Since its founding in San Diego in 1970, Comic-Con has grown to become the world's largest convention related to comics and the popular arts, with annual attendance now exceeding 120,000. In addition to the numerous vendors, there are a wide variety of events, including awards presentations, autograph signings, anime and film screenings, gaming tournaments, celebrity appearances, an art auction, and a costume show.
