Hot Topic: Pensions in Crisis
Hot Topics Image

Both in San Diego and across the country, retirement pensions have been in the news-mostly for reasons retirees (and prospective retirees) would rather not think about. The City of San Diego currently faces a fiscal crisis that resulted in part from the decision to under-fund its pension obligations, and the nation as a whole faces the prospect of increased strains on Social Security as Baby Boomers enter their retirement years.

Below you will find a list of resources (both print and electronic) available through your San Diego Public Library on the topic of pensions.
