The San Diego Public Library is celebrating the life and work of legendary San Diego librarian Clara Breed. "Miss Breed," as she was known, worked at the San Diego Public Library for 42 years, including the last 24 as library director. In honor of Miss Breed, the Library has an ongoing variety of events and programs focusing on her leadership and passion that will live on to inform and inspire generations to come.
