When Should I Use ProQuest?
ProQuest is an excellent first source for newspaper and magazine articles on all topics. Flexible search options allow for subject retrieval, retrieval of known articles, and browsing by issue.
The New York Times historical archive is recommended for original coverage of historical events. Be sure to set the 'Date Range' selector for the period you are interested in (1999-present, 1986-1998, or pre-1986).
Help screens are available at all times within ProQuest. For additional tutorials and training materials, see http://training.proquest.com/ .
Specialized journal collections are also available through other resources for business and health topics.
