Permits

TThe following types of business activities and occupations require a police permit. Applicants must appear in person when submitting the completed application. The San Diego Police Department's Police Permits and Licensing office is located at 1400 'E' Street, San Diego, CA 92101. We will be temporarily closed every Friday until further notice. Our business hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The business telephone number is (619) 531-2250.

Any commercial or residential building having a security alarm system must contact Permits and Licensing or a Police Business Center for a police permit.
