Concession Stand Program
Concession Stands at City Reservoirs Offer Something for Everyone
The City Park and Recreation Department is now operating the concession stands at the following reservoirs: Lake Hodges, Lake Murray, Lake Sutherland, Lower Otay, Miramar Lake and San Vicente.
Concession stands are staffed with recreation professionals and offer a variety of products including live bait such as shiners and crayfish, tackle, rentals of pedal boats and kayaks (single & tandem), as well as marine accessories like flags and tow ropes.
Sun screen products, greeting cards and fishing-related gift items are also available. You will find treats for people such as coffee, pie, breakfast and lunch items. Customers will find prices on all items to be competitive.
Concession stand staff also sell reservoir daily use permits, State of California Fish and Game Licenses and license stamps. Days and hours of operation vary by site and season. For up-to-date information on lakes, parks, pools and recreation facilities throughout the City, visit City Lakes and Recreation.
The concession stands are part of a new partnership between the Park and Recreation Department and Water Department, which owns all reservoirs and concession buildings. The City is committed to providing the best possible service while helping to increase overall security at the lakes.
