Recreation Center Hours
Monday to Thursday:
Noon to 8:00 p.m.
Friday 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED

Facilities
Outdoor multi purpose court, a tot lot for children, a comfort station, a picnic area, a cricket field and a community recreation building with room available for rent. Call the center for details.

STAR/PAL Youth Baseball & Softball - Participants will enjoy learning the fundamentals of "Americas favorite past time" all summer long. Registration is limited and on a first come first serve basis. Registation begins on May 1st for ages 8 to 15, Cost is $15.
History of the Center
The site was first acquired in 1961 and the center was built in 1974. It was dedicated on March 6, 1975 and since then has served approximately 10,000 community members every year.

From Interstate 805, take Interstate 54 East. Take the Woodman exit. Turn left and proceed to Alta View Drive, then turn left. Follow Alta View to Potomac St. and turn right on Potomac Street. The Recreation Center on the west side of the street.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 961 & 962.
