Rare Plant Monitoring Plan RevisionThe final MSCP Rare Plant Monitoring Review and Revision (PDF: 3.6M) was completed in spring of 2006. The City of San Diego began implementing the revised plan during its 2006 monitoring, and the report has been distributed to all MSCP participating jurisdictions. The City of San Diego administered the U.S. Fish and Wildlife and California Department of Fish and Game grant to perform the review and revision of the monitoring plan. Dr. Kathryn McEachern, Rare Plant Specialist with the U.S. Geological Survey Biological Research Division, was the lead scientist in the effort, and was supported by a three member independent scientific advisory group consisting of Dr. Bruce Pavlik (PDF: 179K), Mr. Robert Sutter (PDF: 83K), and Dr. Jon Rebman (PDF: 120K). A public workshop was held on March 29, 2006 to present and discuss the monitoring plan recommendations. View the workshop notes (PDF: 10K) |
