The Miramar Greenery is located inside the City's Miramar Landfill, located
north of Highway 52 at 5180 Convoy Street.

Sundays and most holidays: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Located within the Miramar Landfill, the Miramar Greenery accepts recycleable
green waste to produce useful mulch, compost
and wood chips that are available to the public. Mulch is free! Greenery
recycling is essential to prolonging the life of the landfill. Currently,
more than 14 percent of the residential waste in the Miramar Landfill
is recyclable green material!
To promote greenery recycling, a discount is available on incoming loads
of clean green waste, food waste, dry wood, and lumber. The discount depends
on the vehicle's size. City residents can bring recyclable greens to the
Greenery for free!
Some areas of San Diego participate in the City's Curbside
Greenery Recycling Program. Do you
