Deferred Payment Account Services
To facilitate efficient transactions at the Miramar Landfill fee
booth, the City of San Diego's Environmental Services Department (ESD)
offers two convenient payment options. A Deferred Payment Account (DPA)
is available for landfill customers who maintain a minimum usage equating
to $1,000.00 over a three-month period. A DPA is a contracted 12-month
account for customers who use the Miramar Landfill on a regular basis,
and prefer not to pay by cash or check at each visit. An Outgoing Materials
Deferred Payment Account (OMDPA) is offered for landfill customers who
purchase a large volume of mulch, compost, woodchips or other landfill
products. For more information, go to Frequently Asked Questions, the
DPA Guidelines or contact ESD's Office of the Director.
