The Refuse Disposal Division (RDD) has developed process maps (flow charts) for all of its operations in order to identify the environmental aspects and impacts and thereby initiate the first steps in the process of identifying the significant aspects of its products and services. These process maps are reviewed and updated annually as required by Sub-clause 4.3.1 Environmental Aspects. This Sub-clause of the ISO 14001 standard is intended to provide a process for an organization to identify significant environmental aspects that should be addressed as a priority by the organization’s EMS.
